New Kaduna Millenium City

The New Kaduna Millennium City is 920 hectares of prime space that will house 110,000 residents, provide 35,000 jobs and contain a hospital, hotels, 7,200 residential building plots, 170 parks, 78 development parcels, and 350 non-residential building plots.  The initiative offers investors an opportunity to partner with the Kaduna State Government to invest in various projects, including power generation, transportation and railway expansion, inland dry port development, hospital and other health delivery services, tourism and recreational opportunities, privatization of the water supply, information and communication technologies, and environmental and solid waste management.

The New Millennium City is part of the State’s efforts to ramp up private sector growth and create a business-friendly environment for attracting foreign investment.  Kaduna State’s 11-point agenda also reinforces these efforts.
