Experience in Kaduna

Peugeot’s assembly plant in Kaduna was established in 1975. Peugeot’s efforts in Kaduna are largely marketing, distribution, and sales of spare parts and Peugeot motor vehicles. The plant manager expressed Kaduna’s role in Peugeot’s successful establishment and growth, saying,

“Kaduna is a well-functioning city. Investors can do business here because of the good road networks, low traffic congestion, and skilled and unskilled manpower sourced from schools. Kaduna’s cosmopolitan culture also brings many people from different states and countries, making the city an enjoyable place to live. As far as northern Nigeria is concerned, Kaduna has the most potential for business growth and high returns on investment.”

Potential Investment Opportunities in Kaduna

“I would encourage investment in railway, aviation, energy, and other transport facilities, especially given the State’s growing population and wealth.”

Northern Cable Processing and Manufacturing Company Limited (NOCACO) (www.nocaco.com)
NOCACO produces cables for Kaduna, other Nigerian states, and surrounding countries. It is located in the heart of Kaduna and has branches in Lagos and Abuja.

The company's equity shares are distributed between Nigerian shareholders and foreign partners (40 percent and 60 percent respectively). NOCACO is the only manufacturer of complete assembled harnesses for the automobile industry in the country.
